Invitation envelopes

How are you writing the addresses on your invitations??

Labels look great...nobody even notices besides you!

I am doing clear labels. I can't afford a calligrapher and print it one the envelopes directly takes to much time. I think labels look just fine and they are quick and easy.

I typed on clear labels for the outer and inner envelope. I did a fancy font and it came out great.

Re: Invitation envelopes

I plan to print mine on the envelopes.

If you dont want to use labels you can just set up a mail merge and print them that way...it will take the same amount of time as typing up your labels anyway...

I agree. I don't personally like labels I think it cheapens the invitation but that is only my personal opinion. (please noone be offended if that is what you are doing) It is just as easy to load your printer with the envelopes and print directly on them.

good luck with whatever you choose.

I am using boxes for my invites but I am having the addresses done on cardstock by a calligrapher. I am using Wendy Trout. Her prices were great!

I used a great, inexpensive calligrapher. Judi from A Bridal Paperie. FM if you want her info.

That's what we did....printed from a mail merge on the actual envelopes in a calligraphy-type font... pics in album if you want to see!

Re: Invitation envelopes

IMO, we were thinking of using clear labels and yesterday we received an invitation for FH's cousin's wedding with clear lables and it looks bad. You can see black lines by the labels. It dirties up easier then the envelope. It may look good going out, but not being received. We are thinking of using the vendor someone mentioned yesterday now, it was .39/envelope.
