when you write out the date 'Two Thousand and Four' should the words : two thousad four be capitalized??? I thought yes but I've seen it both ways and now that I got my invitations in the mail yesterday they aren't capitalized even though I had requested it to be that way. What do you think???

Hm.. Mine say 'Two thousand and four'. I don't know if all caps is grammatically (sp?)correct. But I'm sure it's fine.

Four should be capitalized, but I'm sure no one will notice if you do it the other way.

I got my invitations yesterday and only the Two in Two thousand and four is capitalized.

I belive 'Two thousand four' is fine (I would definitely take out the 'and').

I was told that either is socially acceptable and that two thousand is 'technically' the correct way it's supposed to be. I did a lot of research on this b/c my FFIL was an English teacher and thought it should be two thousand four also but all the wedding sites that I contacted (invitation sites) told me that AND should be in there.

I just double double checked it and called the place again to be told that the correct way to do it is: Two thousand and four or two thousand and four but that 'and' definitely should be there and that she's never seen it 'Two Thousand and Four' (all capitalized)
