Okay so I was just reading a post on the BHB board. Someone had asked if it was okay to put 'Adult Reception' on the invite....... Looks like most of the responses said thats not okay...just put the names of who is invited on the envelope blah blah blah.
I was going to put Adult reception on my Reception cards in the corner......is that lame? Knowing the people in my family, if say the envelope is address to Mr&Mrs Danny SoandSo.....they WOULD bring their kids........
What would you do or have you done?
Thanks!

Re: Invitation ettiquite question
I've never heard/seen of that. People should know that if its just addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Jones....the kids are NOT invited. If they reply with the children, you call them and tell them that the kids were not invited....diplomatically. Explain that you could only keep the wedding to adults....thats it. You may feel awkward, but they are the ones that should feel awkward...its etiquette 101 I hate to sound harsh, but its the truth. You should not have to put that on the invite. People should know better.
