I want to make invitations like these for my beach wedding. Anyone have any ideas as to where I can get the weaved type paper wholesale or cheap? I have looked on the internet but have not had to much luck. I was thinking maybe Manhattan but have no idea where. I know they have the garment district in NYC, do they have an area like that where there are all paper/craft type stuff? I am sure there has to be somewhere.

i don't know the actual material is called but i found something similar to that and was used to make albums or bags called pandan weave. maybe this can help lead you to what you want.

Do you know if they are retail stores or wholesale. I need to buy allot and want to get it as cheap as possible. Do you have any idea what the names of the stores are?

In the city on 17th street between 5th and 6th there are two massive paper stores..go there.....they have everything and inexpensive!
