Invitation help

FI and I have decided that we are going to do pockefold invitations. .... We will probably buy the pocketfolds themselves from cards and pockets.

For those girls that are doing pocketfolds I have some questions for you as this is my first DIY:

Where is the best place to buy the cardstock for the invitation itself and inserts?
Should we buy big sheets and cut them down to size ourselves, is this cheaper?
Can you get ready made papers that have a raised border on them, like Camacho's?
Should the invitation paper be metallic or not?Does it matter?
Did you use and inner and outer envelope? Is the inner needed?
Typically did everyone who did this save money on invitations?

I know I have alot of questions......sorry...... But i'm clueless.....

I recommend envelopemall.com for paper. I checked a few places and that is where it was the cheapest and their service was top notch - so helpful. you can order samples from them before ordering also so you see the quality, color and thickness of the paper.

I cut the paer after I printed it. i found it saved me time by doing this.

I just got a quote from cards and pockets for around $250 for 110. That includes three inserts and the invitation. Cut and all. If you need any more info FM me.

just an fyi, order a sample first....i wanted the 5x7....the side pockets were narrow...not as wide as the actual invite...

so i went with paper presentation
