Invitation help

Hey all you creative brides, I need your help. For Julianne's (Sasha's) shower we are doing it at the GW Manor in Roslyn, president's week. The staff will be dressed in colonial attire. Napkins are red, blue and white. I want an invitation that has some patriotic theme, but no 4th of Julyish. Also want it to reflect bridal theme. Can anyone come up with some ideas for me? Thank you.

I would try making your own invitations, by shopping at a craft store like Michael's. Perhaps you could find some wedding bell appliques that you could glue onto some craft paper, and then thread them with red,white & blue ribbon (instead of the traditional white, for the wedding bells). Or you could even punch holes around the invitation and thread the ribbon through them, to form a frame, and then tie them at the top. I definitely recommend a store like Michael's. They have everything, and you can pick and choose all sorts of materials to find exactly what you're looking for. Good luck! Sounds like a beautiful idea.
