I started looking for invitations and went to a few places. I found a few that I absolutely loved - gorgeous!!! And when I inquired about the price (for maybe 125-150 invitations) they told me it was about $2,200!
HOLY COW is all I have to say ...... anybody have suggestions on where to go/ some online sites to look at/ anything that's a little under $2,200! HA
Thanks!!

Re: Invitation Help?! Almost fell off my chair!!!
Jess rini is def worth a contact..... once we met her once we knew we'd have her print all our stationary for the wedding.
we wanted Letterpress so bad... but needing 250 invitation suites with 25 in a different language proved to be REALLY expensive.
met jess... told her an overal 'feel' we were going for. and she created MAGIC!!!! loved them!

dont think she offers letter press yet. you can check the 2011 board for pix of my invites. We opted for traditional invites over the letterpress and they came out just as beautiful.

I LOVE my invitations! I used Jessica Rini for my invites, and they came out so beautiful. Jessica was so great to work with, she listened to everything I wanted until they were perfect. She is so talented. I had seen some of her invites from previous brides, I loved the time table invite, she was able to make it into something different and personal just for me.I can't recommend her enough, she has definitely been my favorite vendor!!! I needed a 130 invitations and she was under $800.

Check out Tammy from Sincerely Yours. I got letterpress but at a pretty reasonable price from her and she worked with me to bring down the cost.

Sincerely yours events -- Tammy is great to work with but ultimately the price depends on what you choose ..like papaer quality, layering of paper, monograms, envelope backing -- all costs extra!! Ugh ... I got quoted 1400 for a simple and elegant invitation.. I am going to shop around a little more though but I do love her work.

everything costs. i wanted to throw up when i found how much it was just to die cut and color the sides of invites. definitely shop around but i'd also talk to tammy about pricing and how to bring it down.

I know your pain. I will probably be going to a local printer. My SIL got hers for under 500. They were very pretty, nothing crazy fancy but still pretty
