Invitation inserts

Invitation inserts

I was just wondering how is everyone handling all the insert that goes with the wedding invite. My inserts are: wedding invitation, directional card to the hall, 2 hotel directional cards and the response card.

I was considering getting one directional card made, that includes all the hotels info and directions to and from all events locations, but this will cost me about $175.

Do you ladies think I should go this route or should I just have all the inserts mailed with the invite and pay the extra postage?

What is everyone doing?

I made a trifold directional insert that included everything. That way guests only had one piece of paper to worry about. I printed them out myself so the cost was minimul

I did the same thing. All directions and information on one page that we did on the computer.

Re: Invitation inserts

I did one direction card and printed the direction to the hall on one side and the direction to the church on the other side, we bought card stock paper from office max and printed them out ourself.

They were small enough to fit 4 to a page. If you think about it, you don't really need to give people a lot of direction. Sometimes too much info can be confusing. I think people are smart enough to figure out how to get where they need to go from where they are coming from.

So don't try to do so many direction cards for everyone, the general one always works.

do it on the computer. these things go in the garbage anyway (lol) and its $175 more to spend, lets say, on your honeymoon buying clothes!
