So I went to look at invitations today and they coast about 370.00 for 125.
that does not include postage or printing for the addresses.
they want to charge 1.10 per invitation to address. is this a lot?
is anyone doing their own printing or labels? how about return labels

Invitation labels
I worked with Jessica Rini on my invitations. Part of the cost was addressing all envelopes, including return address. Check her out.

If you dont mind Digitial Calligraphy try weddingink.net contact Nicole, I believe it's 39 cents per envelope. It's a better option than using labels.

agreed Nicole was so wonderful to work with. Where I got my invites they were charging 1.25 per invite for DIGITAL CALLIGRAPHY. Some girls recommended wedding ink to me and I was so pleased with the result. It came out to 28$ for the 73 invites she addressed for me. I think I may go back to her for my place cards!

Go to Lavender Letter in Dix Hills. Her prices are reasonable for invitations and addressing. Is that price for calligraphy? I actually had digital calligraphy and they came out great!!!

Invitation labels
I printed my own (address & return) and I'm so happy with outcome. We did need a lot of extras to get the positioning right and due to the occasional paper jam, but it was still more cost effective to print them ourselves. I have pics in my album if you're interested!
