Invitation mailing question...

I know its been told before....but ...one more time please.

My wedding is Sept. 16th.... I need to give the final headcount 2 weeks prior. When should I mail out the invites? Am I right in thinking July 4th weekend?

my wedding is 9-8-06 and im mailing them out june 25th my rsvp date is july 31st....i was told to give time for people you will probably have to call who dont rsvp

Okay...so then I am right with my original estimates. I figured mail them out July 4th weekend....with a RSVP date of August 6. I started worrying that I was off.

Sounds about right.

i used to be in the business, etiquette is to send them out 3 months before your wedding and the rsvp date should be 6 weeks prior to your wedding date.

Im mailing mine out the week of June 19th and my RSVP date is August 1st!
