another idea to liven up the black is tie a ribbon around the outside in white

Question,
Will the black folder be what is addressed? If so, then I’d say change it. If this goes into a white or other color envelope. I like the look as it is, but not sure how difficult addressing a black envelope can/will be as well, not sure how it will be to read. JMHO

i love the way it looks now - but what will you use to put the addresses on the invitations?

The folder is part of the invitation ensemble. The inner & outer envelopes are white.

it does seem dark. What about reversing it? And doing red folder and black square backing invite? If you like the black, stick with it.

I just saw that the black will all be on the inside - so i say keep it as is. it's unique and dramatic and gorgoues!
