I love these invites!

My parents actually received one for a wedding….just 2 things…..
They used silver ink on white paper and it was very hard to read.
It’s almost as if the ink did take to the paper.

Also, and this is just my opinion…..but when you mail them take them to the post office and get them weighed and get one stamp.
They cost over $2 each to mail so when my parents got it they used 7 stamps to make up the cost of shipping….it just looked sloppy with all those stamps across the top of the envelope

The postage for my invite is that much and I just made personalized stamps so it looks nicer than the white label the post office would give me.

Yeah…the postage is pretty high….that box that the scroll goes in is kinda heavy and so are the plastic rods the scroll is on.

Will they send you a sample?? This way you can bring it to the post office to get it weighed?

JMHO... I don't like them in that color, however when I scrolled down the post a little bit and saw the ivory with gold it looks very pretty. I would say go for it if you and your FH like them. It is your wedding.

we wanted to do scrolls as well, but they are expensive to mail out.

I recieved one that was white and silver. It was so pretty and elegant. And it really set us up for the wedding because it was very elegant!

i emailed them so that i could get a sample i dont klnow yet she hasnt emailed me back. i think this is a job for my coordinator!!!! lol how did you make your own stamps?

FH is very sentimental and he kept the invitation. It definately is a nice keepsake! Now when I show him these simple but pretty invitations he's like no, I want something special like our friend's invitation! LOL!

lol my fh too!!! i found a simple monogramed one and he was like that too plain. so then i showed him a swarvoski crystal one he was liek wow , after telling him they were 40 bucks an ivite he was liek ok lets keep loking. we came accross these! a lot less then 40 bucks and not plain lol.

but just make sure you find out how much postage is before you order them. i know a girl who got nery fancy invitations that had to ship in boxes and they paid over $4 in postage for each invitation

ooo woyur right. umm ow would i find that out? 100grams in weight it says, so hmmm i wonder.

Go to the post office and ask them. You don't need to give them the invitation (unless you have a sample). Just tell them the weight of the invitation and they can look it up for you.

Or try the post office website usps.com

Also, if you are including anything else with your invitation (ex: direction cards, hotel info, etc) make sure to include that weight as well

Yeah he jsut can't fathom that people throw them out (like me). But I'm sure I'll find something he likes that isn't too expensive because I know he will keep it forever. He has every receipt of everything we done like bowling and movie tickets and such. I like simple or 'plain' and he wants a little more flair.

At least you’ll be able to get an idea.

I love these. I'm actually doing scrolls too!!
Its something different all the paper and enclosures are made of hand made paper. when you receive your sample you will see they are amazing. I received my samples 4 days after requesting them. I'm using a company based in India.

this is how it would come with rsvp and stuff, obviously this is a different design though.

I ordered the sample of that exact one as well as some others and to be honest they look much nicer in the pic. I didnt really care for the quality of the scroll and they had them packaged in a box cuz i ordered like 6 different ones and when i got it the envelope that has the rhinestones on them were like crushed and all. I wasnt too impressed with them. Definately order the sample and make sure you see what you will be getting

Its amazing but logistically is it going to break you for postage? I figure maybe not since that would be a $$$ ensemble to purchase but look at every expense make sure its in your budget and if it so .. GO FOR IT!!!
