Invitation Postage & Stamp question..

Invitation Postage & Stamp question..

I just picked up my invites (YAY!!) and went to the post office to have them weighed.....they came out to be 60 cent postage required for each.
For those of you who need this amount of postage, did you do the ONE 60 cent stamp, or TWO of the 37 cent ones?? There really aren't many choices with the 60 cent ones so I'm curious what people chose.
I may go with this combo below, but I feel like they don't match & may just go with the two smaller ones on the front.... What does everyone think?

I used the combo that you posted...

AND, we've been invited to 3 more weddings since ours and those brides also used the same combo

I just went with the .60 cent stamp. Used the LOVE one for both the invite and the rsvp.

I think if you can try to keep it to one stamp it will look nicer. There were a couple overseas that i had to put two stamps on and it just didn't look as nice, IMO.

i think i'm going with the love one also..its the same stamp but then again i really like the new love ones with the bok on it..i'm confused too..do people really even notice the stamp??

Oh ok, thanks suven.....that's good to know. I didn't realize it was such a popular combo.
I thought they were supposed to match exactly but i feel like they're so pretty so it really doesn't matter.....

anjerandunder: I don't notice the stamps all the time, but I think as long as they look pretty, it doesn't matter.... It should probably be the least of our decisions right!

Since I have been engaged and I am planning, I have been noticing those things, like stamps from recent weddings I have been invited to....but I would venture to say that not too many people notice the stamps, and it def. will not make or break the wedding. so find the one you like the best and go with it , dont second guess yourself....whatever it is , it will be fine!

I had such a hard time with this...there is a 0.37 stamp that I really like but it doesn't come in the $0.60 denomination. In the end I decided not to spend another minute stressing over it. I'm just going to use two of the stamps I like. It's more than $0.60 but I'm okay with that since it ensures that there is more than enough postage to get it to it's final destination.
