Invitation pricing

Ok so I got a quote for invitations. I don't know it's too high or reasonable because I've never shopped for them before...So ladies I need your opinions...Let me know what you think of this pricing..

Here is the pricing I was sent:

SAVE THE DATES (100-125 quantity)
Letterpress vs. Flat printing

1-2 color save-the-date card, letterpress: $450-800
*include card and envelope with return address

1-2 color save-the-date card, flat printing: $700-1100
*include card and envelope with return address

INVITATIONS (100-125 quantity)
Letterpress vs. Flat printing

1-2 color invitation suite based on something in our collection, letterpress: $1700-2200
*includes invite, envelope with return address, reply card and reply envelope

1-2 color invitation suite based on something in our collection, flat printing: $1000-1400
*includes invite, envelope with return address, reply card and reply envelope

Hmmmmm...What do you think????

Thanks so much

Re: Invitation pricing

My pocketfold invitation (125) w/2 layered metallic paper, including all labor and everything is about $650.00

This includes the invite, RSVP, accomidation card, Direction card, and reception card.

Re: Invitation pricing

very high

I paid $550 for thermography (raised printing), custom invite, with double twist ribbon, reply card, reception card and direction card. o and return address on reply card and invitation envelope.

also i think you might have switched the price for the STD, it looks like the flat printing is more then letterpress., its probably the reverse

eta: 110 invites in my price and we had 2 colors and double layered

Re: Invitation pricing

I don't know anything about letterpress but that seems really high! I hate to be the dark cloud here but remember most people will only throw these out.

My cap for invites was $600 and that included, custom invite, 4 info cards (accomodations, repsponse, recpetion, etc)

ETA: that was for 125 invites
