Invitation Pricing?

So, I am literally clueless about how much I should be spending on invitations.

I love letterpress invites but know that they are a small fortune starting at like $6 (if i'm lucky) per invite but know that digital and thermography printing are cheaper. Can you guys share a general price point of how much you are spending per invite?

I've played around on wedding paper divas and minted but really don't want to spend a small fortune on something that will get thrown out.

ahhh, it's such a tough decision to make! Spend the money and get something amazing, or try and go budget and have something that is nice enough but not your dream invite.

Trust me, I am there with ya. lol

I think anywhere up to $6 is reasonable if it's custom, or a pocket, or has bling. I found invites on etsy that are amazing, embossed, and GORGEOUS but run somewhere above $6 each. For all that I would be getting for that price, it's a good deal but still a big money spend overall. I also need like 150 invites... soooooooo

If i were you i would work with Rae Of Art Designs. She is reasonably priced and easy to work with. She is also very Creative and helpful!!!

I love her work and saw her portfolio at the last g2g. i just need to figure out what the heck i want and then will reach out to her after i figure out some sort of theme for programs, menus, etc. She's incredibly talented.
