I was quoted approximately $1200 for 150 invitations. This includes the invitations, response cards, direciton cards, reception cards and envelopes.
Is that a crazy price? I have no idea.... If you don't mind sharing, what was the deal with your invitations?

Re: Invitation Pricing Help!
i got mine from http://notfromabox.com and i ordered 115 invites for less than $500. Britta is great to work with and they have excellent stuff.
IMHO... $1500 is WAY too much and i couldn't justify spending that much on paper. But to each their own. Then again, i couldn't imagine spending close to $500 either when i started looking!

Re: Invitation Pricing Help!
it depends on what type of invite you get. invites can be a few hundred or a few thousand. one of the things that raises the price: (1) more than one layer (2) ribbon, etc.
Also, shop it around. I went to Invitations & Beyond in Oceanside and they were great. No need to look further -- they have great prices and the people there are super nice and know what they're doing.
I paid about $900 for 175 invitations. Plus calligraphy - i suggest you go with computer calligraphy. IMO, it looks just as nice and its a lot cheaper. I think everything came out to $1100 after calligraphy.

Re: Invitation Pricing Help!
IMO that is too much money.
I paid $500 for 150 invitations. I did not have, or need, reception cards. But I did have response cards and envelopes, the invititation, matching envelopes with burgundy inner liner and return address.
