Invitation Process?

Invitation Process?

Ladies,

I am looking to order invitations in the next 2 weeks. I am not sure however what the process is to order them.

I know what invite I want and I know where I am getting them. How do I know what wording I am using and such? LOL it seems like a weird question,, but I have never thought about it before-

You should search many invitation websites and check out their wording templates for invitations, reception and response cards. Once you find the templates you like, edit them with your information and send it to your invitation company. If you haven't already, you should also send them the invitation design that you desire. The invitation company will then send you a sample by pdf and/or by mail so that way you can proof it. Once you finalize the sample, they will start the assembly of your invites.

Exactly! I googled 'wedding invitations' and read many different samples for each piece- invite, reception card, direction card, etc. You'll work with your invite vendor to write out what you want on each one and they will send you proofs... Good Luck!!!!!

Thank you.. I have been looking at all the invites posted on this site for almost an hour now,, and have about 6 ideas for wording. I will do that now.

Honestly I read through invitation magazines and on line sites to decide what ours would say. I also posted on here for some wording and the girls helped out Our invitations are in my album if you want to take a look. They are a bit wordy though as we included our parents.
