When you order invitations, is it always in quantities of 25? (25/50/75/100, etc)? Looking at my guest list, I need 71 invitations total. If I order 75, I'll have very little extra. If I order 100, I'll be swimming in extras. Thoughts?
(I'm starting to lean towards using Wedding Paper Divas online because I can order in quantities of 5 and can get exactly the number that I want, which is 85.)

It depends on the vendor. Most places have suggested that I order 10% extra that I need just in case.

You should order 20% extra if you are getting calligraphy done I think my vendor does any amount

I was able to order any amount through my Etsy vendor but I ordered 10% more for invites to have one for my scrapbook, one to photograph and in case there were any issues. I ordered even more envelopes in case there were issues with addressing/stamping them
