Should it read Mr. & Mrs M proudly announce the wedding 9blah blah) of their daughter Karen Ann...or should it also have my last name...And then for FI, would it be and Michael Paul, son of MR. & Mrs. M, or Michael Paul M.?

Re: invitation question
hmmm, i'm not really sure. On the site where I found my invitations, it has a bunch of wording options. Maybe going on a website where they do that would help.

Re: invitation question
We are using:
Dr. and Mrs. Dad and Mom Last Name request the honor of your presence at the marriage of their daughter First Middle to First Middle son of Mr. and Mrs. Dad and Mom Last Name on Saturday, the eighteenth of September Two Thousand and Four at two o'clock in the afternoon Church Address Town, New York
Haven't checked for proper caps just yet

Re: invitation question
I really know a lot about this because I had a hard time as both me and FH come from divorced families.
Both of our parents have differnet last names so ours went Mr. & Mrs. John Smith and Mr & Mrs William Mann Request the honor of your presence at the wedding of their children Alisha Mary Dorr and David Henry Alexander on.....
You can also put his parent name under his name... David Henry Alexander son of Mr. & Mrs. WIlliam Mann
You do this so his family or your family friends who might not know you that well will know who you are related to.
However, if you have the same last name as your parents as does he then you put:
Mr. & Mrs John Smith and Mr. & Mrs. William Mann (optional) request the honor of your presence at the wedding of their children Alisha Mary to David Henry.
Hope this helps....

Didn't think of that! Thanks!
One question - can that potentially imply that parents are divorced but mom still keeps the last name? Or would that scenario read Mr. Dad Last Name and Mrs. Mom Last Name?
