On the Envelope, should I spell out 'And'?

Mr. and Mrs. John Smith

OR

Mr. & Mr John Smith

Do not use symbols. Spell out the word 'and.'

I did mine as Mr. & Mrs. John Smith

Sometimes, I didn't even use the John. I used Mr. & Mrs. J. Smith
