If your ceremony starts at 4:00, are you supposed to write 4:00 on the invitation or put an earlier time so the guests are there on time?

I put down an hour before my ceremony starts. My hall said the guests can arive at 7pm and ceremony starts at 730 so I put down 630.

Put the actual time...if your guests are late it is their loss...

We put actual start time...and gave ample time for folks to get there, but made arrangements for any early arrivals...

i would put half hour to an hour before....this way you give them time to get there....

I did 6:00 for a 6:30 ceremony due to the location of the RH and the fact that it's a Friday night in August

just to add: Honestly, it all depends on your guests. I know a bunch of my guests are usually late so I think for me 30min before scheduled arrival time works.

My ceremony is 5:30 and the invitation lady suggested I put 5:15 especially since my ceremony is at the reception hall.
