i know I should know this. But how far in advance are you sending out invitations? and how long is your RSVP date before your wedding?
I'm doing 10 weeks before the wedding. I know everyone says 6-8 weeks but that just sounds so close to me! And my rsvp date is also a month before the wedding.

i'm probably sending mine out at 10 weeks. and my RSVP date is a month before the wedding.
I sent ours out at the three month mark, and the RSVP date is exactly 4 weeks before
I sent mine out 9 weeks prior, they were do back a month before the wedding. This gave people 5 weeks to send the response back... And still I'm missing some!
Im doing 12 weeks before and making the RSVP date one month before, I have a feeling I will be tracking down RSVP slackers. We have people who never RSVPed to our engagement party and only close friends and family were invited.

Crashing. I'm sending mine out 7 weeks before and my RSVP date is going to be a month before the wedding.
I sent mine out monday which was about 11 weeks before the wedding (I got tired of holding them). The RSVP date is May 24th which is about 4 weeks before the wedding.
We intend to have an RSVP date of about 7 weeks before our wedding because our wedding is January 18th and we want our RSVPS by December 7th. We don't want the stress of the holidays to interfere with our responses so figured we would request them early.
I say the earlier the better...at least 8 weeks earlier! Unfortunately there are those people that just don't RSVP unless you call them!
I think the general rule is to send them 8 weeks before the wedding with an RSVP 4 weeks before. I have a B list and 4th of July and Labor Day in between that time, so I'm sending 10 weeks before the wedding with an A list RSVP of 6 weeks before the wedding and the B list 4 weeks before the wedding.
