Invitation question.. For one household

So if a family is invited, but the two kids are being invited with guests... How do I do this?
Send 3 invites?
Or-
Mr & mrs John doe
Mr bob doe & guest
Mr Tony doe & guest
333 paintbrush way
Wantagh new York 11793.

????
This seems silly to me.

Re: Invitation question.. For one household

That is why we are doing inner and outer envelopes.

Outside would say:

The Doe Family
333 paintbrush way
Wantagh, New York 11793

Inside would say:

Mr & Mrs John doe
Mr Bob Doe & Guest
Mr Tony Doe & Guest

orr you can do the inner envelope a bit more informally-

Uncle John and Aunt Jane Doe
Bob Doe & Guest
Tony Doe & Guest

I have cousins who, while they are older, could care less if they got their own invite, as long as they are invited lol and the boys especially wouldn't appreciate the quality and presentation of the invites. Mine came to like $5 a piece, so I was not going to be ordering more just to give my 18-25 yr old male cousins who live with their parents. If they have their own places, thats another story.

Anyone in the house that is over the age of 18 we sent their own invitations with guest and then sent the parents their own invitation.
