We are inviting around 236 people....half of that is around 119 invites....how many extra should we order???

maybe round it up to 125 just in case? thats what I would do.

We're inviting 216 and we ordered 125 just to be safe. I think anywhere between 125 and 150 would be ok.

I wouldn't order less than 150. You, your mom and FMIL might want some keepsakes. And also, what if you get too many no's and have to go to your 'B' list.
It was only a few dollars more for plenty of extras for me. Better to be safe than sorry.

Second that. We sent out 118 for 235 guests and ordered 150.

I agree with the ladies who said 150. We ordered 75. Our guest list grew and we sent out 72 and 2 people have yet to receive theirs (they were sent out 2 weeks ago). We are going to have to give them another each so we only have 1 left for us! I would definitely say its worth it to order 25 more.

I would also say 150. We are inviting 260 and we ordered 150.

Def. 150!!! Dont make my mistake and run out There will probably be a few last min. people your mom or fmil 'forgot' to invite. We had a few ( I think 3) returned to us b/c the Address my dad or whoever gave me was incorrect and I had to re-mail. Plus you might want a few keepsakes. Its better to have a few too many then be a few too short

Definitely 150.
We 'had' to invite a lot of people from CA when they had no intention of coming... grrr that was 15 invites right there. Also several couples we invites (bosses, and two friends whose DH's are cops) are coming as singles.
That left us scrambling to come up with a B-list. WE only wanted a wedding of 100 people but we ordered way over our number of invites. Good thing too

I would get 150!! We had some last minute add-ons (very irritating) and I framed our invitations as gifts for each set of parents. Buying 25 extra invitations cost about 75 % of buying ALL our invitations! It is so much better to have extra.

I would also go for 150. I needed 51 for my list and I ordered 65 just to be sure.

We over ordered We invited 131 and ordered like 100 invites. We are probably only sending out around 70.
