We got 150 Birchcraft invitations (that includes everything (reception cards, etc. and printed return address on invitation)) and paid about $400.

Heavy cardstock, made by C'est Papier.

I think invites are important because it sets the theme and I know from personal experience that if I get a really nice invite then I think the wedding will be really nice also.

That is a very good point, alixgirl. I am just trying to figure out how much is too much, ya know? Is over $600 for 100 invites with reception and response cards too much? I feel like I am picking $$$$ invitation brands!!!

check out the invitation thread...so many awesome websites with all types of invites! i ordred tons of samples today. Too bad the one I really like is so expensive!
