What is the wording everyone is using for their reception card. My reception is quite a few hours after the ceremony and will also be adults only. TIA!!!

Do you mean 'Dinner and Dancing' or 'Cocktails being Served' that sort of thing????
If so, I think 'Cocktails will be served at (time) at Chateau La Mer ' or something to that nature.
Or 'Dinner and Dancing at CLM at (time). Cocktails served at (time)'
I'm not sure if it matters how long is in between your ceremony and reception as long as you specify a time for the CH on your reception card.

Adult Reception to follow With pre-dinner drinks served At half past five On the terrace At Old Ballarat Hotel Lidiard Street South, Ballarat
(I would use 'cocktails' instead of 'pre-dinner drinks')

Leave out any reference to an 'adult' reception. The guests will be able deduce who is invited by the inner envelope.
