How soon before the wedding date do you make the response date for the invite? Is Aug. 10th too early for a Sept. 20th wedding?
if thats how much time you or your venue needs then i say go for it, or if you know you will have a lot of slackers who dont reply in time then definitely give yourself time to follow up on them
I would do about a month prior-unless you will have B list invites to go out then sooner is better.
I had a response date of July 21st for a September 1st wedding. I also sent my invitations out early then usual because it was labor day weekend. I wanted an early rsvp date so I could send out more invitations if I fell below my minimum.
no, giving yourself at least 1 months time but not more than6 weeks will be good, since there are always people that 'forget' to RSVP.
