Invitation RSVP's

FMIL is having me ask what is the standard length of time to give ppl to get the response cards back to you?

I think we are sending invites out 8 - 6 weeks in advance.

i think its like 6-8 weeks... we r doing more like 10 because its around the holidays

I think we're going to send the invites ouy 9 weeks before and then have the rsvp date exactly 1 month before the wedding. So everyone has 5 weeks to rsvp.

I think I want my RSVPs back by mid August, 4 weeks before.

i want my RSVP date to be 5 weeks before my wedding so i have time to chase people

I'm sending mine out a little earlier then normal since its right around the holidays and people make plans. I plan on sending mine out 10 weeks before and the RSVP date is 5 weeks prior.
