I'm a very last minute sort of person, and am only working on invitations now. We had the return addresses professionally printed, and 'New York' is spelled out, as it should be. Well I just printed up half of the envelopes on the computer at work today, and just realized I've been abbreviating 'NY' on all of the mailing addresses!! Now I don't know what to do - to redo them means I have to reorder them, because they didn't give us extra, even though I asked. And we need to send them out in the next week or so. I almost cried right here at my desk. Am I turning this into a bigger deal than it has to be? Will people even notice? Am I loosing my mind?

Don't drive yourself crazy over this - I doubt that people will notice. They'll be too busy looking at the beautiful invite.

Yes, sweetie, you're over thinking and extra sensitive. NO ONE will think any less of you for abbreviating the state. NO ONE. And if they do, they s#ck!
