Do you put the response cards in the back of the invitation or in front( I dont have an inner envelope)? Also should I put the number in on the will attend or not?

the guests will fill in the number of people attending, i would put the invitation in front of the response. so when the guests open the card they see the invite first.

Re: Invitation stuffing question?
Here is the suggested order to follow when assembling wedding invitation pieces:
1. Reception Card (if included) right on top of the tissue paper with its wording facing you.
2. Response Card is tucked underneath the flap of the response envelope with the printing facing you making it one enclosure. Place on top of Reception Card (or tissue paper if Reception Card is not included).
3. Maps or Directions (if included) should be placed on top of the Response Card with any church directions being on top of any reception directions.
Place all items in the in envelope with the print facing the back of the envelope so it's immediately visible when opened by the guest and with all folded edges inserted first.

Re: Invitation stuffing question?
Do not fill in the number. Also, I am assuming you do not have a pocket fold?? So if this is the case I would put the RSVP under the flap of teh RSVP envelope & place in front of actual invite. As for the directionals i would find a nice way to clip them together otherwise i feel like a million pieces of paper are coming out of the actual envelope. But thats JMO. HTH Happy stuffing. : )

Re: Invitation stuffing question?
Thanks Ladies...
Question: My response card has it's own little jacket/folder. Also, I dont have tissue paper, my Ceremony and Reception are at the same venue and the RH provides direction cards so what do I do?
All in all I will have:
1) My invite 2) a rsvp card/envelope in its own individual jacket 3) the direction card
What order do I place them in?

So you cant fit everything into the pocket fold?? Try to put the directional behind the RSVP. Try to keep it neat & clean.

No, it isnt a pocket fold per se, it is more like a lil cute compartment designer for rsvp card and envelope.
so basically invite, rsvp card then direction card. got it.

ITA. If I didn't have a pocket for response cards, this is how I would have done it.
