I'm putting the real time but I think all of our guests are usually punctual.

Re: INVITATION TIME???
I think it depends on your crowd, I know my people for the most part are known to show up early to things,(so if i saw 15 minutes early they will be there at least a half an hour early) if you know a lot of your people are always late make it earlier. I hate when people make it earlier and I rush to just sit there, but on the other hand I know why people do it.

Re: INVITATION TIME???
No one, I mean no one, in my family can make it anywhere on time, but I'm not sure if I would offend fh's family by not putting the right time.

Re: INVITATION TIME???
Wow, I didn't even think about this! I put the actual time it starts. I hope I didn't just shoot myself in the foot by not putting it earlier now.

Re: INVITATION TIME???
Since there is probably a wedding at the church before mine I am putting the actual start time. If the wedding before runs late I don't want my guests walking in on it.

Re: INVITATION TIME???
We are putting 1/2 hour early. I know that I have family that has a hard time getting somewhere on time. I don't want to have to wait for them!!!

Re: INVITATION TIME???
I never even thought about that. I always thought you put the time the ceremony started on the invitation
I guess if you have a fam history of lateness I would put earlier but honestly I think my family and friends would be offended and think it rude if i put the wrong time. being that people rearrange their schedules to be at a wedding...i wouldnt want to rush to get there (like i normally would) then sit around for half an hour! jmo

Re: INVITATION TIME???
We're getting married the Friday of Labor Day weekend and anticipate many guests running into traffic. As per the priest's suggestion, we're putting 1/2 hour earlier on the invite.

Re: INVITATION TIME???
I put the real time.... I didn't want to offend those who are always on time. Now I am going to have to drill the latecommers that they have to be there on time or early lol.

Re: INVITATION TIME???
our ceremony is 3pm and we put 3pm. I think people need to know to get there on time or the doors will be locked. Clever of you though. Didn't think to put a 1/2 hour earlier.
