I am printing my own invites on my own laser printer. The darn thing either does it crooked when I'm inserting the invite straight or puts extra ink in spots where it doesn't belong. I've messed up 10 all ready

Re: Invitation woes!
I started out printing my envelopes too and it was a nightmare!!! i had the same problem with the ink spots and it being crooked!! After destroying 10 envelopes, i paid someone to do it for me, it was only $135 for 100 envelopes. Let me know if you want the info

Re: Invitation woes!
Ah! join the club. I must of messed up 20 envelopes because of the same 2 reasons you are stating. Heres what I did, Im going to try to explain it the best I can. Instead of inserting the envelope with the flap down, open the flap out so that the entire envelope is laying flat where you insert it in the printer. My bro told me that the reason these things happen is because when the envelope flap is closed it causing the printer to kinda jam because the paper is too thick, so you have to lay it flat with the flap open. HTH
ETA: as for it coming out crooked..well thers not much you can do about that. A few of my envelopes came out crooked...I said f-it slapped a stamp on it and mailed it...couldnt deal wtih the frustrating any longer
