Invitation Wording

Invitation Wording

I am trying to write out the wording for our invites and I have a question. My Mass is at 3:15. Should I write:

at a quarter after three o'clock in the afternoon

or

at a quarter past three o'clock in the afternoon

I know I am anal!!

Also, what is everyone doing with their response card wording. Are you writing ____accepts ____ regrets

or Number of person attending _______

I have been researching all day and it is 50/50 so I was wondering what you guys are writing!

Thanks!!

I like ' a quarter past three o'clock...'

I also like the accepts/regrets option. I just wonder if it would be more clear for you the other way when you keep track of the # of your guests

I would use the accepts/regrets and quarter past three.

My invitations have accepts__ regrets__. It is much easier to add up who is coming and who is not. I also like the wording: a quarter past three.

I like a quarter past three o'clock and on my response I did the accepts/regrets AND # of guests attending....I am inviting children and guests...so I wanted to be safe

I think you should say at a quarter past three also. Here's the way my response card is set up. I wanted to be sure of the exact number people were bringing so there wouldn't be any surprises!

Not to confuse you, but how about writing 3:00? That way you know everyone will be on time.
