Invitation wording...

My parent's are paying for the wedding. But I'd like to mention his parents on the invitation. The only problem is his parents are divorced. Dad has remarried. Mom has not. Do I write.....

Son of
Mr. John James Doe
and
Mrs. Jane Doe

or should she be referred to as Ms.? or do i just use her first name and last name? Or should they both be listed on the same line...

Son of
Mr. John James Doe and Jane Doe

Can someone help? I've been searching the web. But can't find anything.

Thanks!

Re: Invitation wording...

My parents are divorced also, but neither remarried (they are actually dating each other again), anyway when we ordered our invites we had the following:

Mrs. Marisa XXXXX
Mr. John XXXXX
and
Mr. & Mrs. Sam XXXXX
Request your the honour of your presence
at the marriage of there children
Adrianna
and
Chris

You could do:
Mrs.xxxx
Mr. & Mrs.XXXX (your dad and his wife)
and
Your FI parents

Just a thought, but when you order your invites the person there will help you with all that.
