Hi ladies I'm sorry I haven't been on in a while and posting but work and life have been keeping me busy. I 'm going to try and get on more often now that I am slowing things down. I also missed you all so very much. When FH is around he distracts me from LIW.. lol
I started to look for invites and I found one that I like (see pics below). I just need to make sure that the wording isn't funny or anything. I blotted out the names and such for obvious reasons..lol
Danielle ------- & Gary ---------- together with their families invite you to share in the joy and celebration of their marriage
Sunday, the ninth day of March two thousand and eight eleven thirty in the morning
Russo's On The Bay Tivoli Room 162-45 Cross Bay Boulevard Howard Beach, New York
the wording is fine, however, if you want people to come to the ceremony, then dont put on 'reception immediately following' because then people dont come to the ceremony or show up at the time you've indicated on the invite
i was going to do that also, but someone informed me not to

Re: Invitation Wording
Only reason why I was concidering doing that line was because the ceremony is only 30 minutes long...lol

Re: Invitation Wording
That was a concern of mine I wanted to put 11am not 11:30am (the ceremony starts at 11:30am). I am worried that people will be late.
FFIL and FMIL insist on putting 11:30am on the invitation.

Not yet we're going back this week to make sure that the one in the photo is the one that I want...lol I definitley want to deal with Just Announce It! in Oceanside.. Nicole and Danielle have been so helpful.
I think if I look through a few more books I'll be sure...lol

JMO, but i would either make it 11 on the invite, or not put 'reception immediately following' otherwise a lot of people will come at 12
