Invitation Wording...

What do you guys think of this?:


Together with their families,

'Bride's name' & 'Groom's name'

request the honour of your presence....blah blah blah....

We personally put together with our parents.

We thought family was a little too broad. IMO

Our names are first on the invitation as well.

i love it, actually. my entire family is involved, especially my sisters, so I think putting it that way gets everyone recognized.

i'm actually not sure about one thing - are you doing first and last names?

like

Jane Smith and Joe Schmoe

together with their families

request the honour of your presence blah blah...

we should do last names too right?

absolutely! We did Lindsay aND jASON together with their parents, so you can put ur names first and together with their families.....

The wording isperfect!

mm... fh doesn't have a middle name which screws me up. so i'm not sure if that will look weird

That's my situation as well...my brother has contributed as well, that's why I didn't want to put just the parents..

thats exactly what i wrote on mine..cause it is our familes helping

and also we are including our families on our ceremony

I will add our last names too...I think it makes it more formal when you add the last names.

I don't think it will look weird...not everyone has a middle name...my FH has one and I don't (But I don't think he will want to add it in the invitation)

I think it will be fine to either add or not add your middle names

FH will kill me if i use his middle name
