So its about that time for FH and I to order invites.
I have looked through the books but Im having trouble with the wording.

Ours is a little wordy and even though we are paying for the wedding, we wanted to include our parents... There is a pic in my album.

i dont know - i like when it starts with together with their families - i like when only the bride and grooms names are on the invite - especially when the bride and groom are hosting...if my parents were contributing or hosting than i might want to put their names but since they arent i think together with their families is how we will go...

Ours was tricky, both FH and I have lost parents. My mom and FH's dad are both being very generous, and we couldn't imagine not having both our parents names on the invites, so our wording is: The honor of your presence is requested at The wedding of Shari ______________ daughter of S & R ( both parent's first names only) to Matt ____________ son of M & E (both parents first names only) on ----- at ----
etc.

We are paying and my FH's mom has past so we did not add any parents names. We are also using our boat for when we leave instead of a car.
