Invitation Wording

i did it as my daughter inviting everyone
it kinda pissed off my dad but oh well
it was easier than trying to get the formal military invite wording correct and no one really gets offended

look in my tessa album.. we have no parents paying.


she did a nice little blurb and then said join us....

blah blah blah

We are paying for most of the wedding ourselves so we are either going to use:
Together with their parent Bride and groom or I may just go traditional even though my parents are not paying for most of the wedding and use:
Mr. and Mrs. X
request the honour of your presence
at the marriage of their daughter
Samantha X
to
XXXXXX XXXXX
son of
Mr. and Mrs. XXXXX

I am torn on how to word the invites b/c I want to show my parents respect...they are not paying for my wedding but they did pay for me to go to private high school and college.
