How do you word the invitation when only you and your FH are paying?....Here is the situation: We are having destination wedding with a full out reception in Antigua in which my FH and I are paying BUT at the request of my parents we are having a SMALL (89 people is now apparently a small wedding) reception entitled 'Post Nuptial' at Lombardis on the Sound....Here is the thing....my parents want my FH and I to pay in 1/3, they will pay in 1/3 and then my FIL 1/3......How do you word that invitation AND is the invitation just for Lombardis??? Also---How do you ask the IL to chip in?

Re: Invitation wording
my co-worker just had a destination wedding & she did two separate invites. one set for the destination wedding & a different set for their post nuptial celebration.
since her parents gave the initial wedding the invite has worded traditionally. however, even though her parents r giving her the post nuptial celebration her invites are wording from her & her DH.
just an idea.
& good luck with asking ILs for money towards the wedding. not sure how to go about that as my FMIL offered to pay for the flowers at the wedding & the rehearsal dinner.

Re: Invitation wording
I know I am going to get screwed on the money from my FILs. It doesnt help that they already contributed for my FH's last wedding. Oh Well-but thanks for the advice on the two serperate invites!!
