Invitation Wording??????????

Invitation Wording??????????

We're getting invites from Etsy and we're trying to figure out wording, we want our parents names on it but with both of us hosting along with them.. I would love ideas and advice!!

Our other dilemma is where to put the wedding web site, we were planning to just to do a RSVP card and the invite. Reception is in the same place as the ceremony so no reception card....

We're weren't planning to do a direction card but now we feel like we may have to just to put the web site on a separate card

Please Help!!!!!!!

This is our wording:

Together with our parents
we invite you to share in our joy
and support our love
as we exchange vows and
are united in of marriage

Marissa xxxxxx and Jason xxxxx
Saturday, the thirtieth of April
two thousand eleven
at time
Crest Hollow Country Club
Woodbury, NY

We put the website on the rsvp cards because we have an ersvp option, and on the map card. I have also heard of some people doing it on a separate business card size insert. HTH!

Crashing...We put the website info on the hotel card being that the website had all the information for the OTT guests.

Also for the wording we did something along these lines:

Mr. and Mrs. John Smith request your presence
as their daughter,
Linda Sharon
marries
Frank John
Son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jones
on Sunday, the fifth of Sepember
two thousand ten at half past four
in the afternoon at Jericho Terrace
of Mineola

Reception to immediately follow

This is the wording we used. We're paying for 80% of the wedding and my parents are paying for the other 20%. I didn't want the invite to exclude his parent's names and my parents didn't care if they were on there so this is what we came up with.

As far as the website goes, you could definitely put it on the RSVP card OR at the bottom of the invitation in a corner or something. We put it on our STDs so I didn't think it was necessary to put it on the invite, esp since we're doing directions cards too.

the wording you want to use is on the nail with Lisa's invite. if your paying for the bulk of the wedding, your names go first since you are hosting and then you can honor your parents by mentioning their names below yours.

imo, even though the ceremony and reception are in the same place, i would still do a reception card to state that the cocktail hour starts immediately after the ceremony.

i've never seen an e-rsvp yet so i'm not sure where they would go

We were going to put reception to follow, wouldn't that just let them know that the reception and ceremony are right after one another?

I have reception to follow ceremony on mine. I had to add in 'ceremony' because nobody in my family has ceremonies, so I wanted to make sure people knew lol

LOL! I think we're going to do something like together with their parents (list parents names) then our names invite you blah blah blah...

Still don't know what do about the wedding web site!
