Invitation wording

Does anyone else response cards say

'the favour of a reply is requested' - then the RSVP date

I got my invitations today :) but I was looking over everything and I realized that the response cards said ' the favour of a reply is requested July 24th 2012' it doesn't say ' the favour of a reply is requested BY July 24th 2012'

Is this normal? Do you guys think that's okay? I'm scared my guests aren't going to RSVP until July 24th now.

I wouldn't even think twice about that. Anyone who has ever seen an invitation of any kind will know that's the cut off date. I think you'll be fine!
