Can someone who had a Catholic nuptial Mass please let me know how you worded your invitation?
I think mine will look like
Mr. ------------- requests the honour of your presence at the Nuptial Mass of his daughter Mary --------- to C----------- son of Mr. ---------- Friday, April xx, 2004 at x o'clock in the afternoon St. ---------- Church City, State
But I would like to see how others worded theirs before I decide on this one. Plus, FH thinks his dad should also request the honor of our guests presence. I say no, he isn't helping to pay. So maybe we can come to a happy middle.
Thanks in advance! Mary

Re: Invitation wording
Ours Says:
Because you have shared in our lives by your friendship and love, we
Jaime XXXXXX
&
Michael XXXXX
together with our parents invite you to share the beginning of our new life together when we exchange marriage vows on Saturday the seventh of february two thousand and four at three o' clock in the afternoon XXX XXXX Church 123 happy street hicksville, new york
We didn't wan to do the traditional one with parents names on top because my parents are divorced and would have fought over whose name goes first. But I actually like this one better because it is a pretty saying and it includes all our parents.
