My fiance and I are paying for most of our wedding. Both of our parents feel we should put our names on the wedding invitation because we are really paying for our own wedding.
What are some examples of the wording?
we were thinking something like this:
Nicole Middle Last and James Middle Last Ensign United States navy request the honor of your presence at their marriage on Saturday, the twenty fourth of October two thousand nine at two o’clock in the afternoon XY Church 123 Main Street Town, New York
is it 'two thousand AND nine'?
do i put 'AT' two o'clock?
i have seen different versions online and in books, and wanted peoples opinions on what was correct for a formal wedding invitation. we decided to use the contemporary spelling on honor (not honour)
