Invitation wording. Please help.

I think this is the wording we are doing. What are your honest opionons. I definitly want to put the our parents names in the invitations even thought we are paying ourselves. My parents are divorced and are comming alone to the wedding so this is what i thought of.

Today I will Marry My Best Friend
The one I laugh with, Live for, Love
Karen
Daughter of
Mrs. jane Doe and Mr. Joe Doe
&
John
Son Of
Mr. and Mrs. R Smith
Hope that you will join us in this celebration

Thanks,

that wording is perfect - my friends used the same thing on their invites and i loved it! it's a classy way of saying that you are the ones hosting the reception, and you get to honor your parents as well by mentioning them. definitely use that wording!!

Phrasing sounds great, but there are some grammatical things... I recommend:

Today I will marry my best friend
The one I laugh with, live for, love
Karen
Daughter of Mrs. jane Doe and Mr. Joe Doe
&
John
Son of Mr. and Mrs. R Smith
Hope that you will join us in this celebration

I love your idea of putting the son of and daughter of on the same line as the parents, the only problem is my last name is really long so im not sure if it will fit. But i will definitly keep it in mind.
thanks,
