Invitation wording question...

Invitation wording question...

If your parents are paying for the wedding and you put

Mr. Joseph & Mrs. Jane Smith
Invite you to the wedding of their daughter

Jill

to

John Doe

(or something like that)

Did you then include FH's parents on there even if they aren't paying? And then where is your RSVP going??

I got FBIL's invitation in the mail today and even though he claims his FILs aren't paying for anything this is how the invitation is worded and they completely left his parent's out... and then the RSVP is going to her parent's house... She's almost 40 years old... they have their own place, why wouldn't you just have them sent to your own house??

My parents are paying for everything and FIL's haven't given us a dime but we still put 'Together with their parents...'

at the end I would tag 'son of Mr. and Mrs....you don't want to hurt their feelings. My responses will be addressed to my parents...but thats only bc I still live with them

Neither of our parents are paying for anything (with the exception of the flowers and my dress from my parents) and we did 'Together with their parents' too.

That's what I thought but they just left them off completely.

neither of our parents paid for anything but we put together with our parents because we wanted to include them. As for the rsvp we had it sent to my moms only because we live in an apartment and sometimes the upstairs ppl take our mail 'by accident' and forget to return it for months so we dont want to deal with any of that but if we lived in our own house we wld have def had them sent directly to us
