Invitation Wording Question...--Please Help!

We are having our ceremony and reception in the same location, so we are not having reception cards for our invitations. What I am wonding is, since there is no reception card, do we have to put the address of the ceremony/reception location on the actual invitation? Or is including that info in the driving directions enough?

I would really appreciate any help you can offer, I need to make this decision pretty quickly.

We are getting marrried at the reception site also. We simply put the location after the date and time like you would if it were at a separate location. We then put 'invitation to follow' at the bottom, and included direction cards.

Did you put it like this:

View on the Hudson
Piermont, New York

or

View on the Hudson
Two Shad Row
Piermont, New York

Thanks!

I think I will put this:

Mr. and Mrs. James R. Decker
request the honour of your presence
at the marriage of their daughter
Lisa Ann
to
Mr. Mark Robert Vetter
on Saturday, the fifth of June
Nineteen hundred and ninety-nine
at one-thirty in the afternoon
Name of reception Hall
465 Delcrest Drive
Columbia, South Carolina

Reception
immediately following ceremony

we're doing what julz33 did. people will get the idea when you say that you are getting married at a restaurant.

Wait...we're not getting married in a restaurant...I'm confused.

My confusion on this comes from the fact that if we were getting married in a church, the street address would NOT appear on the invitation. Why is it different in this instance?

Ours say:
The pleasure of your company...blah blah blah
then our names
Please join them with their parents
Mr& Mrs Smith
Mr& MRs. Jones
Friday, the sixteenth of April
Two thousand and four
at five oclock
Flowerfield
St. James, New York

Reception to follow.

Hope that helps!

ETA: We included direction cards.
