invitation/etiquette ?

Okay- I was wondering how you would word an invitation in a situation like this: my parents planned to give us $$ to celebrate our wedding and we chose to use it for a reception, both advised us to use it for something else, like a house, btw- my mother passed away 6 months ago, though - FH's parents are contributing a little (I think)- so how do we word the invitation?

I know, typically, it would say the parents of the bride (since usually whoever is footing the bill goes first- but I feel weird just saying the father of the bride) and the parents of the groom (who may or may not be contributing) blah blah blah

sooooo...I was thinking of writing, bride and groom, together with their parents invite....

is this okay, or should it have my father first since while FH and I are paying a good portion of it, he is also contributing about 3/4 of the cost (although he is giving us a wedding present and we are choosing to use if for a reception).

Sorry about the length- i am just really confused! Thanks for any advice you have!

Re: invitation/etiquette ?

You can do 'together with their parents, xxx and xxx' request.....

Or, as you said you can do Mr. XXXX and Mr. and Mrs. XXXX

Or, you can do Mr. XXX and the late Mrs. XXXX

we are also doing 'bride and groom, together with their parents invite....' b/c we are footing the bill, but want to honor our parents in some way.

We are doing:
Katherine (last name)
and
Jonathan (last name)
together with their parents
Invite.....yadda yadda yadda....
We are doing it because all are contributing some, and FH parents a divorced and remarried.
