Invitations

I knew the answer to this at one point, but is it 2 months or 3 months b4 the wedding that the invites go out?

I think it's 3 months...but I'm having one of those days today, where nothing is making sense...

I thought it was 2 months (8 weeks)??? Now I want to know the answer!

Traditionally 2 months before the wedding, but it also depends on the RSVP date.

I would say 2 - 2 1/2 months before... I think 3 months is too much.

good point...so since my wedding is May 14, 2005 ...I should send out the invites mid February...closer to the end of February?

I am sending mine out 9 weeks before. We need to give the hal the final count about 44 weeks before.

10 before the invites go out and the RSVP is 4 weeks later. This leaves 2 weeks left until I give the hal the final count. With those 2 weeks I can make the calls of those who have not yet RSVP'd.
