Invitations

FH and I have started looking at invitations and I am amazed at the cost! I know it is much cheaper online but then I worry about the quality of the paper. Does anyone have any vendor suggestions?

Re: Invitations

I want to just butt in and say something. Me and FH were freaking out about invitations until we realized we didnt need one invitation for each guest, it is one for each couple!

And Linda from Linda's Lovelies was very nice, she is a vendor on LIW.

Re: Invitations

We actually got a great deal from a vendor on EBAY....$135 for 100 invitations..! if you need the vendor name I used I'll get it for you...

Good Luck!

Re: Invitations

most online places allow you to order paper samples. I suggest doing this to ensure the quality is of the caliber you want. We didn't order our formal invites online- but all of our other stationary- i.e. RD and brunch invites, etc. we are getting from paperstyle.com

Re: Invitations

I just got some samples from FineStationery.com and the quality is excellent. They are a little pricer than the Carlson Craft and Birchcraft I have seen, but not excessive.

ETA: I just spent an hour browsing PrincessWeddingInvitations.com and they also have a great selection!

Re: Invitations

I made mine myself But, if you go to rexcraft.com, you can request a catalogue, and they send a free sample in it... and they're prices are pretty reasonable (comparatively)

hehe thank you I designed them (really didnt take long at all), and FH printed them all out (same thing with the response cards)

it was pretty easy... the only thing that's going to be a headache is the envelopes, but that wouldve been time consuming anyway even if we did order them
