when is the best time to order them?

That is a good question...maybe 4-5 months before or a little less.

they usually come very quickly. I ordered mine already!

I've heard that you should order 6 months in advance. I haven't ordered mine yet and I've heard that most people get them very fast. But I have also heard of people who were still waiting for them to come in 2 months before the wedding, and had to send them out late! If you know what you want, I don't see any harm in ordering them a little early. I plan to order mine by the end of November for my May wedding.
